Refund policy
Each sign is custom made to order based on your selections in the web site. It is your responsibility to check and double-check all details - including shape, size, colors, text, font and logos - before confirming the order. Returns will be considered for shipping damage, based on immediate shipping damage claims filed with the carrier. To be eligible for a return, we will need the shipping carrier's documentation showing the damage to our packaging and the sign, with photos.
Returns will be considered for material defects in our products or errors in our fabrication process resulting in a product that is not representative of a professional custom-made sign, as is visually represented on the site. To be eligible for a return, we will need a detailed explanation and photos showing the concern and will request direct communication with the client to discuss the circumstances.
Returns will specifically not be considered if the reason is connected to your sign permit that may be required by your local municipality. Most municipalities (towns, cities, counties) have regulations applicable to the installation of commercial signage and require an approved sign permit. The process of obtaining a sign permit is relatively simple, in most instances. Please see our FAQ information regarding the procurement of a sign permit for some basic assistance. The sign permit process is your responsibility as the business owner. The sign permit process is specifically not the responsibility of The Carved Sign Store. You may use the documentation provided by the Carved Sign Store in your sign order to facilitate the sign permit application process.
Returned Goods Permission must be obtained before returning merchandise. Merchandise returned without permission may not be received or will be held at purchaser’s risk and is liable to non-acceptance. Authorized returned goods are subject to restocking charges, which will vary depending on the product. No returns will be accepted after five (5) days of receipt.
Other than damages incurred during shipment or material defects in our products, we view each sign as unique and custom work of art fabricated for you, based on your selections that you make in our web site. We are happy to answer any questions via email or phone call, as needed, to support you.
To initiate a return, you can contact us at paul@carvedsigns.co for a Return Authorization Number. Please note that returns will need to be shipped to the following physical street address:

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at paul@carvedsigns.co.
